Поиск файлов и текстовый поиск в Runtu
Все время работы в Runtu мне не хватало функционала файлового и текстового поиска, как в Windows, однако такие инструменты есть! и они гораздо удобнее.
В менеджере окон Nautilus (Наутилус) есть очень полезная функция, когда открыта папка - достаточно начать набирать на клавиатуре и наутилус найдет вам этот файл.
Но это удобно когда знаешь что файл есть в этой папке и нужно лишь отскроллить содержимое.
Совсем другое дело когда нужно найти файл, но неизвестно где он есть, а то еще хлеще, когда нужно найти текст, в вот в каком файле он неизвестно.
Для этого в Runtu есть мощный инструмент Tracker. Во время работы компьютера он индексирует содержимое всех дисков и всех файлов. Настроить параметры индексирования можно так, Система-Параметры-Параметры индексирования.
Т.е. поиск нужной вам информации занимает считанные секунды!
Кроме того Tracker предлагает поиск в нескольких поисковиках, в ebay, в wiki и в Ubuntu package search.
Также можно искать файлы и в gnome-commander поиск доступен по кнопке F9, однако он ищет в реал-тайме, и иногда виснет при текстовом поиске.
