Обитаемый остров. братья Стругацкие
Читая этот роман я поначалу недоумевал, что же здесь такого что стоило экранизации.
Простое повествование, фантастика, прилетел мальчик, уничтожен корабль, назад пути нет, переживания по этому поводу минимальны, только первое время он иногда вспоминает что неплохо бы передать весточку маме и все. повествование повествование. хорошо конечно описан мир в котором оказался Максим. в кино так не передашь.
И только после того как Максим попал на воспитательные работы - началось интересное, какие-то мысли, переживания, есть над чем и самому задуматься. Несчастные мутанты, нечеловечески жестокие жители островов, абсолютная тирания отцов, люди болванчики.
После прочтения оказалось есть комментарии автора к роману. И все мои мысли подтвердились, они сами по началу писали роман без энтузиазма, и потому по началу это чистая халтура, беллетристика, но потом роман их увлек. Вот собственно цитата из комментария
Очень хорошо помню, как, обескураженные и злые, мы говорили друг другу: «Ах, вы не хотите сатиры? Вам более не нужны Салтыковы-Щедрины? Современные проблемы вас более не волнуют? Оч-чень хорошо! Вы получите бездумный, безмозглый, абсолютно беззубый, развлеченческий, без единой идеи роман о приключениях мальчика-е…чика, комсомольца XXII века…» Смешные ребята, мы словно собирались наказать кого-то из власть имущих за отказ от предлагаемых нами серьезностей и проблем. Наказать тов. Фарфуркиса легкомысленным романом! Забавно. Забавно и немножко стыдно сейчас это вспоминать. Но тогда, летом и осенью 67-го, когда все, самые дружественные нам, редакции одна за другой отказывались и от «Сказки», и от «Гадких лебедей», мы не видели в происходящем ничего забавного.
Мы взялись за «Обитаемый остров» без энтузиазма, но очень скоро работа увлекла нас. Оказалось, что это дьявольски увлекательное занятие – писать беззубый, бездумный, сугубо развлеченческий роман! Тем более что довольно скоро он перестал видеться нам таким уж беззубым. И башни-излучатели, и выродки, и Боевая Гвардия – все вставало на свои места, как патроны в обойму, все находило своего прототипа в нашей обожаемой реальности, все оказывалось носителем подтекста – причем даже как бы помимо нашей воли, словно бы само собой, будто разноцветная леденцовая крошка в некоем волшебном калейдоскопе, превращающем хаос и случайную мешанину в элегантную, упорядоченную и вполне симметричную картинку.
Это было прекрасно – придумывать новый, небывалый мир, и еще прекраснее было наделять его хорошо знакомыми атрибутами и реалиями. Я просматриваю сейчас рабочий дневник: ноябрь 1967-го, Дом творчества «Комарово», мы работаем только днем, но зато как работаем – 7, 10, 11 (!) страниц в день. И не чистовика ведь – чернового текста, создаваемого, извлекаемого из ничего, из небытия! Этими темпами мы закончили черновик всего в два захода, 296 страниц за 32 рабочих дня. А чистовик писался еще быстрее, по 12-16 страниц в день, и уже в мае готовая рукопись была отнесена в московский Детгиз и почти одновременно – в ленинградский журнал «Нева».
Таким образом, роман (рекордно толстый роман АБС того времени) написан был на протяжении полугода. Вся дальнейшая история его есть мучительная история шлифовки, приглаживания, ошкуривания, удаления идеологических заусениц, приспособления, приведения текста в соответствие с разнообразными и зачастую совершенно непредсказуемыми требованиями Великой и Могучей Цензурирующей машины.
Впрочем я читал версию романа наиболее полно приведенную к оригиналу.

Кто там обсирает его - пусть убьются сами.
Расхождений с книгой много, но видимо иначе нельзя. “Мастер и Маргарита” книга такого же объема - сериал 10 часов. а “ОО” будет 4 часа. поэтому есть сокращения сюжета книги. Но все равно если взять во внимание экранизацию “Дозоров” - то “ОО” просто супер точно следует книге.
Я непонимаю откуда у людей такая мания обосрать?
Может быть потому что Гоблин успел популяризироваться со своим говноотзывом? А остальные как стадо тупых баранов стало поддакивать?
Сама книга в первой части - халтура - от того и кино первая часть получилась не сильной по смыслу. Но все самое вкусное впереди!
